Why ‘Corporate Styling’?

Why ‘Corporate Styling’?

Let me answer this for you.

In very simple words, corporate styling is the way you dress to work and the attitude you carry; it’s about your professional presence. It’s an empowering approach to highlight your strengths and ensure that your image reflects your true brilliance and is in line with the industry you are a part of.

It’s not about trying to be like someone else but about using your real self to make people take notice of you. It’s about giving you a style that would make a fabulous first impression and would portray a compelling image to your client, thus, enhancing your prospects.

I, while working with any client, always maintain their inherent style, because people will embrace a person and connect with them only when they seem real.

Why is corporate styling necessary?

“There is no such thing as a second chance at a first impression.”-Will Rogers

Never underplay the power of corporate styling and what a well styled individual or an organization can achieve. Corporate styling gives you an image that is a visual representation of you. It is the unspoken first impression that talks to people around you, way before you do.

I read something on the internet, which I am going to quote (The link is also provided below):

“Dress like you want to be addressed. According to multiple studies your dressing can affect your performance mentally and physically. There is an old advice that says, you should dress for the job you want instead of the one you have. Many studies say that when you change your dressing style, a biological reaction happens and makes you feel like a new person. If you want to have that boss like personality and want to be ahead of others, then dress for success and suit up.”

A well-dressed professional will have higher level of confidence and presence, and therefore enhanced chances of succeeding. Any corporate appearance should speak of authority, control, reliability and demand respect. If it does not do so, something is not right.

I truly believe that if you look good, you feel good and you work ‘good’. It’s people who make an organisation and if they are positive and confident, the organisation is positive and confident and this certainly makes winning a bit easier!

So go ahead, look good and win the world.
