How I fell in love with Denims and whites..

This is the story that made me want to start my blog, so its very special to me!

It was in Florence, Italy, that my husband reminded me about an event we had to attend in the afternoon. ‘The event’ I had totally forgotten about. I did not have appropriate clothing and I hadn’t even carried adequate makeup!!  Plus, I was too short on time to go shopping.

Since no time for a panic attack, I decided to get a little innovative. I then discovered the magic that good old denims and white can create!

And there began my love for this pair!

Since then, every time I have worn this combination, the reflection from the mirror has winked back and I have fallen in love with my blues and white all over again.

Let me show you some of the looks I created with this combination.

Denims from Forever 21, top from Gap, sandals from Clarks, necklace from Zara, blue scarf from a street hawker in Nyc, orange bag from Sarojini Nagar in New Delhi, sun glasses from Versace, belt from street vendor in Linking Road, Mumbai.

White shirt from Forever 21;
Jeans from Marks & Spencer (these are straight cut jeans, which I folded from below. I really feel this adds a light height and a fun factor).
Shades from Forever 21, beige stilettoes from Steve Madden, traditional Indian Kundan earrings and the dash of color, Red lipstick from Mac.

I paired my marks & Spencer jeans with a white cotton top from Bandhej.
The green neckpiece is from a street vendor in Khan market, New Delhi.
Shoes from Steve Madden

I paired the same denims with a white cotton strappy top from Fab India and silver heels.
The green clutch is from Sarojini Nagar, New Delhi.
The neckpiece from Janpath Road, New Delhi
Sunglasses from Forever 21

So, take out your denims and whites and create the magic with this combination.

If you want to add a dash of color or dramatize it a bit, don’t shy away from using accessories. A colorful bag or a belt or shoes or even earrings can give you the desired effect. You could use scarfs too.

Go ahead, get as creative as you can and look wonderful..

Hope you enjoyed this article.

Lots of love!
